Quality Assurance

We at Buildmaster are committed to creating and maintaining a working environment that lends to providing quality products and services to our clients.

Buildmaster's Quality Policy is based on the fundamental concept and understanding that the control of quality is a team obligation and responsibility, and we recognise that quality is built into every aspect of the project.

Our team will provide quality products and services that meet or exceed New Zealand industry standards and best practice.

Buildmaster will work on the Principals Quality Plan, or prepare and work on our own internal Outline Quality Plan.

Projects will be delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Quality will be the responsibility of every individual performing or managing the works.

Quality will be obtained through appropriate planning and control of work operations and by specific quality control activities such as reviewing, checking, inspecting, testing, and quality auditing. 

Buildmaster recognises and promotes the importance of Quality Management, encouraging all personnel to be actively involved, and have assigned designated responsibility to members of the team 

this policy will be reviewed at least every two years. 

Healthy and Safety

At Buildmaster we are committed to creating and maintaining a safe and healthy environment, both in our offices and on our work sites. We are committed to meeting the requirements of the Health and Safety in Employment Act 1992, the Health and Safety Regulations 1995, and the relevant Approved Codes of Practice.

We are also committed to meeting industry best practice standards.

Buildmaster Ltd will work to the Principal's Site Safety Plan, or prepare and work to our own Internal Site Safety Plan. We will take all practicable steps to:

Provide safe places of work, safe equipment, and proper materials. Establish safe work methods and insist that these are practiced at all times and provide regular supervision, induction, and training of employees

Ensure that all staff understand and accept their responsibilities to promote and maintain a safe and healthy workplace

Ensure all contractors who work on Buildmaster sites have a suitable and approved Health & Safety Management System

Buildmaster Ltd recognises and promotes the importance and value of Health & Safety management, encouraging all personnel to be actively involved, and have assigned designated responsibilities to members of senior management.

Buildmaster Ltd encourages a safe and early return to work of any injured staff member.

Employees and Contractors are expected to contribute to creating safe work sites by practicing safe work methods, ensuring that appropriate PPE and PPC is used, and reporting any unsafe work practices, conditions, or equipment to Buildmaster Ltd supervisors immediately.

This Policy and Plan will be reviewed at least every two years.
